Year 3 have been very enthusiastic in their learning, and can identify names of shapes, the number of faces, edges and vertices.

The children enjoyed finding shapes around us that we see on a regular basis, such as tins of beans, ice-cream cones and dice.

Today the children created 3D shapes using nets.  They investigated how many faces, edges and vertices each shape had when creating them.  Some of the shapes will be used for our Maths displays.

Well done Year 3 mathematicians!
