Year 4 recently visited Blackpool Tower Circus as part of the Literacy unit (Recounts) with Mr.McShane, Mrs.Brown, Miss.Gilmour and Mrs.Kilgallon.

Mrs.Holden drove the children to the comedy carpet in the new school minibus, where we all had delicious sandwiches before taking in the sights of Blackpool promenade and Central Pier.  We were then ready for the Circus, which was a wonderful experience for all.  After that, we jumped aboard the trams which the children thoroughly enjoyed.  The children are very fortunate to be living in such a vibrant town as Blackpool.  All of the children recorded their experience in the recounts using descriptive writing.
